About Art Center

Learn to create. Influence change.

This is the mission statement of Art Center College of Design, and our answer to what art and design offer society. Part call to action, part promise, part opportunity.

A leader in art and design education for 80 years, Art Center College of Design challenges students through a transdisciplinary curriculum that explores socially responsible, creative and design-based solutions to real-world issues. We offer undergraduate degrees in Advertising, Entertainment Design, Environmental Design, Film, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interaction Design, Photography and Imaging, Product Design and Transportation Design. We offer graduate degrees through six distinct programs: Graduate Art, Graduate Environmental Design, Graduate Film, Graduate Industrial Design, Graduate Media Design, and Graduate Transportation Design.

Through our Public Programs, we also offer a wide range of open-enrollment art and design courses for individuals at every stage of their educational or professional development. Our key programs: Art Center at Night, for professional artists, designers and college-age students; Saturday High, for teens in grades 9-12; Art Center for Kids, for children in grades 4-8; and Summer Institute for Teachers, a five-day interactive workshop in Design-Based Learning.

We’re also on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo, Foursquare and Flickr.
