Art Center Student Exchanges

Hello! This summer I had the opportunity to be an exchange student at University of Arts in Berlin (Universität der Künste Berlin). To be honest, my first impression of Berlin was: “It’s so…ugly.” I guess, hearing stories from my friends and family, I expected Berlin to be a bit more appealing at sight. However, after two months, I realised Berlin isn’t a city that offers you much, but saying that I’ve searched through it’s cracks and corners to find that it holds so many treasures! Berlin and Berliners alike continue to surprise me everyday.

These are some photos I snapped when I first arrived to Berlin at the Tegel Airport, taxi ride, UdK Fine Arts building, and the area around my dorm in Tiergarten.
