Alums Present Play in London

As part of the Serpentine Gallery in London’s Park Nights series, two Art Center grads will participate in a Sept. 25 performance of The Party, a play by alumna Alexis Marguerite Teplin MFA ART ’01 with texts by fellow alum Michael Ned Holte MA CRIT ’04. The Party is a collaborative project in the tradition of the Theatre of the Absurd including characters of an artist, designer, philosopher/critic and ingénue.

Art Center—From a Student Perspective

Have you ever wondered what it is really like to be an Art Center student? We did too.

We asked a group of students, from a variety of backgrounds and majors, to share their thoughts on Art Center and being a student here. They told us some interesting things, and we think you’ll enjoy reading their interviews. We’ll continue to add new profiles and viewpoints throughout the year.

Check out our student profiles and learn about life as an Art Center student.

The Online Gallery is Live!

Have you seen our new gallery of student work?

It’s one of several exciting new features on the site. Sort work by discipline, then click on an image to see it larger and to find out more information on the piece. It’s a popularity contest of sorts — the more clicks a piece gets, the larger it appears in the gallery. Be sure to check it out!
