    Dear Jay:

Your Mom gave me this website when I asked
about you. You are so lucky to be studying in
    Germany.

I looked at all the pictures and your captions
    and justed loved your postings.

I currently teach art at a psychiatric hospital for
outpatients. They are doing well. It is a lot of
work though. I teach it like a course in art school, but I give them more help and attention
than if they were getting a grade. It is not an
art therapy course, but an ongoing painting
course. This week I started to teach drawing,
because that is important to painting.

St. Patrick’s is under major renovation. My
desk is behind scaffolding, so I have stayed away
for a few weeks. My information desk has been relocated to a card table in the corner, and no one visits to ask questions. The renovation
should cost millions of dollars. Its a big one.

Take care of yourself. I am sure you are having
a positive experience. You are a bright and
    open-minded young man.

By the way, one of my students has a PhD.
from MIT in Engineering. I think he teaches
the type of Engineering that you were studying.
I forgot what it is called.

    Marianne
