Art Center alumnus and faculty member Doyald Young ADVT ’55 was honored with an AIGA Medal Thursday night at the sixth annual Design Legends Gala in New York.

I’m truly sad to hear about Doyald’s passing. I was fortunate enough to meet him at a talk he gave in Sacramento a few years ago, when I was still a student. He was a true inspiration and all around rock star.
