Grad Tapped to Design Acura ZDX

Three years ago, Transportation Design alumna Michelle Christensen was a new graduate working for Honda, making sketches for a blue-sky vehicle. The Honda brass were so impressed with her sketches, they turned them into a real vehicle—the Acura ZDK.

    If The Dotted Line would have finished their research, they would have realized that the other exterior designer on the vehicle was Damon Schell, also an Art Center alumn. The interior designer, Michael Wiedeman, is also an alumn. And the Color & trim designer in chage of all colors, materials & textures inside & out was Kimberly Marte, also an alumn.
    Now THAT’s an Art Center success story!
