Craig Calsbeek (BFA 78 Illustration) won a 2015 American Graphic Design Award for Advertising from Graphic Design USA for his HOYA photo filter campaign.

JP Denyer (BFA 77 Advertising) developed new content for her blog, “The Art of JP.” The Art of JP

Estragon, founded by alumni Dirk Fleischhut (BS 95 Product Design) and André Lüthy (BS 92 Product Design), has designed a new Swiss army knife for Swiza. estragon

Markus Goerg (BFA 00 Photography) was a panelist at a discussion and Q&A for screenwriters, titled Final Draft & Colaborator MEET THE MANAGERS Panel and Networking Event, which took place on September 14 in Los Angeles.  Eventbrite

Sarah Lehrer-Graiwer’s (MA 07 Criticism and Theory) article in Artforum, Class Dismissed: A Roundtable on Art School, USC, and Cooper Union, examines tuition-free or fully funded art education at USC’s Roski School of Art and Design in Los Angeles and Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York, while reflecting upon the Black Mountain College model.
